About Me

I have always had an eye for photography and framing. After years of taking photos with smartphones, I finally started photography professionally in 2017 as a way to engage in self-care. As a community lawyer who works on difficult types of cases like domestic and sexual violence, I found this to be a beautiful way to be “present” and find beauty in the ordinary.

I have professional experience in:

  • Event photography, including corporate conferences, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays

  • Food photography

  • Court weddings and outdoor small wedding receptions

  • Professional headshots

  • Portraits and lifestyle shoots

  • Couples and family photoshoots

  • Street photography

  • I have also had some of my street photography from Black Lives Matters marches in 2020 published in magazines.

My photography is not my main source of income, but something that I do because of sincere enjoyment. This means that I spend a lot of time on every photoshoot and on editing photos. I do not use bulk edits but rather give separate time and attention to each photograph.

I aim to be a visual storyteller through my photography, and I take professional classes, attend photo walks, and continuously engage in more opportunities to grow in my skills.
